Tour
Packet
Prior to the tour you will receive a packing list, local
information, detailed up-dated itinerary, mailing addresses
and phone numbers and much more.
Transportation
If you are flying:we offer ground transportation to
and from the airport listed in the tour descriptions.
If you are driving: we will supply a map to the location
of the start point of your tour, including information
on the route and sights along the way.
If you are arriving by boat or train: this depends on
the tour you are on. If you arrive in Oslo, Bergen,
Stavanger or Kristiansand transportation and housing
can be arranged prior to the tour and after the tour.You
will need to select the transportation shuttle needed
from your tour description.
Ferry trips within a tour are included.
Orientation / Registration.
Upon arrival we will brief you prior to the start of
the tour which will include introductions and a description
of the trip. This shall include any last minute changes,
an overview of the following few days and answer any
questions that you may have.
Lodging
Depending on the tour you have purchased, housing is
always arranged. Hut/ Seter home. If you are cycling
through the majestic mountains in the back country we
have arranged seter homes ( mountain homes) or huts
that are situated near the top of the high mountains
with spectacular views into the peace and solitude of
isolated valleys. Inn, bed & breakfast, and rorbu
the later being traditional fisherman shanties. Hotel;
when possible.
Tent
Camping
If your tour package is roughing it, taking on the more
challenging
approach we have arranged base camps deep in the woods
that will
make you feel right at home. Tent, sleeping bag and
personal gear is your responsibility, however we can
arrange tent rentals if necessary. |

Delicious
Meals
All meals are included depending upon the trip you have
ordered. We do reserve one dinner on the tour that is
up to you.We will have suggestions for you including
local authentic dining. Vegetarians are accommodated,
although meals may include eggs and dairy products.
Hut to hut trips will include the most tasty dishes
found utilizing local resources.
Guide
All tours at Freebike Norway Adventures include an experienced
guide familiar with local cultures and traditions including
the most spectacular rides and secluded backroads.
Experienced Leaders and Professional Staff
For us, we only measure our success by the quality of
your experience. Our staff prefers to give a one-to-one
effort throughout the trip from the first contact, setting
up the trip to the very end when the good-bye are taking
place. Service, expertise and care are our goals.
Experienced Mechanics
A well trained mechanic is essential to all bike trips.
Our staff is equipped to handle standard repairs.We
also take into consideration on Mt. Bike Trips, that
we need to carry a stock of parts that is needed for
repairs. An additional charge will be applied.
Lots of Support
Not only technical support, we also have well equipped
vans available depending upon the tour.
Accommodation
Standard accommodations are double occupancy with private
or shared bath. Single room requests will be confirmed
at the time of reservation, with the single room supplement
that is posted in the catalogue. If you request a roommate
we will do our best to pair you with the same gender.
If no roommate is available there is no additional charge
if you book the trip 90 days prior to departure. If
you sign up within 90 days a single supplement will
apply. Children under the age of 18 must share a room
with an adult family member. Please advise us if you
would like us to book you pre or post trip accommodation.
