Madrid
We start in Segovia and its old aqueduct, and visit Cuvarrubias where the Norwegian princess Kristina from Tønsberg is buried. She was meant to merry the Spanish prince but ended up with King Alfonso`s youngest brother in 1258.
Kristina dies only 4 years after her wedding, childless and only 28 years of age. Norway and Spain built the chappel which was promised to Kristina 800 years after her death.
From Cuvarrubias we travel towards Madrid and choose between horse riding or summer skiing in Sierra de Béjar, La Covatilla, before entering Madrid and finnish off with opera and dinner in Madrid.
